We are reaching out online to our El Puente families and communities in order to raise awareness and rally support for those individuals and families affected by superstorm Sandy. If you live, work or can make it to Brooklyn and would like to help those in need, we are collecting donations tomorrow SATURDAY November 3rd from 930am-11am at El Puente headquarters located at 211 South 4th Street corner of Roebling, in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
Requests for donations for the families in need include perishable items:
Baby formula, canned foods and water as well as non perishable items like toiletries/hygiene products, feminine care products, baby diapers towels, clothing, underwear, socks, coats and batteries. Also, any games, books, coloring books and small toys to occupy & entertain children will be accepted.
you can offer will be appreciated, however
No cash donations are allowed to be collected.Beyond this weekend, there will be more opportunities to help, through additional relief efforts to come out of El Puente Leadership Centers. Please Stay tuned.
